Breakfast at Hotel Munchnerhof

Just waddled out of our all you can eat Swiss breakfast. Choice of four cereals, three or four breads, salami, another meat, swiss and camenbert cheese, yoghurt several flavours, juice, real coffee, hot chocolate for the girls and fresh fruit. Even a small selection had us waddling out. Well we see it as a free hardy breakfast we wont need much until tea.

Basel is an amazing town. As Cos said buildings probably older than Australis next to very modern. Some of the building are your typical steep roofed gabled houses that you see on the postcards. Looking out the window out the window at a light fall of snow (locals probably call sleet) It is cold but not bitterly, the snow is falling fairly straight down not side ways so not much wind at present. Watching the few cars that actually use the roads and some have a reasonable covering of snow on their roofs so there must have been some snow somewhere nearby over night. Little gathering on the ground here. Tell Raz, Howie, Maggie and all other dogs out there that Basel is a great place for them as they seem to have much the same access as people. On the trams even in the shopping centres and restaurants. We saw one sitting on a seat in the restuarant part of our breakast room this morning. Raz may be a little big as they seem only small.

Charlotte says about Basel that it is really cool and we will get to go to the Zoo and Christmas Markets. Jacq reckons she will have fun at the markets buying Christmas stuff and really wants to buy a swatch.

PS If there are z`s & y`s changed around they are swapped on the key board as well as other symbols in different spots.
