Today we sail away from beautiful Trieste on the Ncl Viva. We exited our hotel this morning for breakfast to be greeted by a giant ship..docked ready to receive new passengers.

This morning we found a lovely cafe and enjoyed a typical Italian breakfast of coffee, sweets, and a savoury.
Delightful the Italians are very laid-back something that we can learn from them.

The magnificent architecture of Trieste is just amazing to behold. It is particularly amazing given most of it was built in the 18th and 19th century. Some of the statues are much older from the 16th and 17th century. Beauty is very common place here.

We boarded the Viva at noon, went generally well. The ship unusual in design. Stuff is not where it is normally found on NCL ships. Modern and new, we look forward to exploring once we have lunch at Hudson’s.
