Hawaii Day 12 - last full day in Honolulu

Ahola ๐Ÿ˜Š

Another beautiful day in Hawaiian Islands ๐ŸŒด.

Today we will explore the beaches after late breakfast 10:40am after a big sleep in. We choose to eat at the Beach Club on the beach in front of the hotel. The only downside was the  cost. Food in Honolulu is prohibitive expensive, for example it cost us $30USD for 2 ice creams and a smoothie. Tips are expected to be  somewhere between 15% to 20% plus taxes. Lots of hidden costs to be considered before buying. Of course our $88USD breakfast for two was held at the most prestigious spot on the beach, so our fault.

Watching the Hawaiian canoe go by as we waited for our Breakfast.

Beach walk.

Sand structures at the Sheraton Hotel.

Amazing chocolate shops...,

After an afternoon noon of last minute gift shopping, spent several hours packing. We love packing. ๐Ÿ˜‚

To finish, we headed out to find food and take in a free Luau show at the international market place. Worth doing if you don’t particularly want a dinner and a show and want to save some money

After dinner, last of gifts were purchased for friends, family and work mates. We purchased a another duffel bag to store all the purchases.

After another hour of re-organising our luggage, we sat on the balcony to relax and drink a final Hawaiian sparkling white to celebrate our eventful holiday.

One last view out our balcony.

In summary, today was a busy day of getting ready for our return trip to Australia.

In the morning we have organised a taxi at 6:30am to take us to Airport. Same fellow who picked us up at the ship yesterday. We need to be at the airport at 7am for our 10am departure. The flight should take about 10 hours to get to Australia with any luck.

Melissa and Cos are both keen to head home after an enjoyable Hawaiian holiday. We miss our home, family, friends, pets and certainly our comfortable bed. I think Jacqueline is also keen to have some privacy after living daily in her parents space for nearly two weeks.
