The trip took us past many grand buildings.
We saw more modern buildings on this route, Including the rail station we will use on Tuesday morning to travel to Paris.
We returned to Catalonia Square and had some lunch of salad and cold meats. Very nice.
We returned to the square to catch a bus and travel up the city’s cable car. Along the way, we saw more landmarks of the city.
The cable car ride provided great views of the city.
Once at the top we visited Montjuïc Castle https://ajuntament.barcelona.cat/castelldemontjuic/en which provided stunning views.
On return to Barcelona we went search of food. We found Paellaria restaurant and bar ( www.paelleria.es or https://www.artespanol.com/?lang=en) and enjoyed a traditional meat with 1 litre of Sangria.
It was epic meal and we rolled away very satisfied.
After we took a stroll around the city to walk off dinner.
